And when I thought my patience had been tested to the end, I took my daddy's secret and I passed it on to him. (How can people do such awful things?) Let us know what’s wrong with this preview of I had such a good time reading this book. When his estranged daughter comes to visit, Arthur uses his novel as an opportunity for them to reconnect and talk about tAn interesting retelling and interpretation of the real-life love affair of Peter Abelard and Heloise in 12th Century France. It was hard going. It was released in April 1990 as the lead-off single from his album Livin' It Up. There were issues this couple had to over come, past loves they had to get over. Both had been married and both were hurt in there marriages, so they had to learn to trust one another.I loved Chet and Kimberly's story! He'll listen, and then He'll comfort. At times I was enraged by the deceit and duplicity displayed, even more so as these were real events. We’d love your help.
Such a disappointment. Love without End, on the other hand, I found unreadable. Nana Anna was one of my favorite people in the book. This is the story of the famous lovers, Heloise and Abelard. Review soon!I enjoyed this story. It's an easy read and very uplifting. There’s just so much heart and depth to her stories and she keeps solidifying her place as one of my top favorite authors, especially in her contemporary and split-time novels (I’m intrigued by those genres, but find quality stories hard to come by in them, especially in contemporary). It was like I couldn't figure out where I had read this before and I had not,it just seem like Romeo and Juliet story! The story of Abelard and Héloïse was familiar to me in essence and this retelling didn’t help me identify with it as a great romance - in particular I felt Héloïse wasted her life and I couldn’t sympathise with their decisions to leave their baby son and withdraw to monastic life separately. Welcome back. It really gave me time to get a feel for each of the characters as well as the setting. The last thing either of them want to do is fall in love again. And at others enchanted by the beauty so evidently displayed. This is a beautiful love story riddled with wisdom from God's Word. No real conflict, except in their own minds, and not enough of the romance for my taste.
Both had been married and both were hurt in there marriages, so they had to learn to trust one another. The pace of this book is as leisurely as the stroll depicted on the cover.
