At this point, you just have to wait and see if they are planning on moving Clevinger. While the right-hander finished his rookie campaign with respectable numbers -- going 8-6 with a 3.81 ERA and 1.23 WHIP across 21 starts -- he provided plenty of reasons to be skeptical about his ability to repeat that success, most of which are reflected in his 4.94 FIP and 5.13 SIERA. I actually agree that there's no real room for Plesac right now in the rotation.
Carrasco starts the next day on the 29th, but I doubt they would have a resolution on Carrasco at that time even if he bombs.
Plesac didn't miss many bats, evidenced by his 9.9% swinging-strike rate and 6.8 K/9, while the contact he allowed was often problematic.
Maybe they are trying to showcase Clevinger, but they really don't need to.
Latest on Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Zach Plesac including news, stats, videos, highlights and more on ESPN I'm not going to scream service time for this one because they did jump start Mckenzie's.
Is this new Zach Plesac (not the dumbass part) really legit? Carrasco starts the next day on the 29th, but I doubt they would have a resolution on Carrasco at that time even if he bombs. ERA. W-L.
With Plesac, who knows, although having him sit around instead of pitching at all even out of the bullpen makes little sense.
Seems justfiable to keep it down until someone sucks or gets hurt. Cutting Pleasac probably doesn't kill your season.

Plesac has opened the year with three strong starts, allowing a total of just three runs. Plesac has a 94 MPH fastball with four pitches and he has incredible control, like his dad who held his baby batter longer than most.
6 months ago Cleveland Indians pitcher Zach Plesac received the call to the majors on May 28 last season and proceeded to pitch a 3.81 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 88 strikeouts in 115.2 innings.
