Then we learn that this whole set-up actually is a prank of a quartet of naughty catholic schoolgirls on the evening before spring break. They try to escape before he murders them, too. The film is lively, has decent character development, memorable nudity, and a controversial ending.
When he discovers that one of the girls has witnessed the killing, March begins a methodical murder spree, eliminating the girls one by one. She becomes scared and runs to tell the others what happened. Here's a real weirdo for you. On their way there they meet up with some guys in a local diner and decide that they would both meet up with each other in another location later on. TMDb: 4.5/10 5 votes. An opening teaser segment with a co-ed being butchered in a shower is a dead end, or rather an attempt to mollify audience members who expect films with such titles to feature such content. There are also some nifty wood-settings, some gratuitous nudity and we better NOT mention the completely stupid sub-plot of two frat boys that fruitlessly search for the missing girls, simply because they didn't show up for a breakfast appointment. The best part was the rape scene between the killer and one of the girls where he decides to rape her in her jail cell and it seems that the girl actually WANTS to be raped by this man and the bare chest scene I admit was good but before their lips meet he has other things in mind.

SHALLOW GRAVE is a must for misanthropes, misogynists and nihilists the world over.
One of the girls needs to use the restroom, but with nothing in sight, she heads into the woods to do the deed. Soon strange things begin to happen when the various tenants and servants of the mansion don't want to leave and ... It deserves to be a little more known, actually, since it definitely does contain more suspense than the majority of 80's horror films and because the plot is also rather convincing and compelling. He instantly (and secretly) turns into a serial killer determined to kill off all the girls.
Roy is killed by a couple of jewel thieves and then brought back to life and possessed by deceased serial killer "Blade".

Then it's lets-rip-off MACON COUNTY LINE-time as Dean stalks, traps and slaughters the witless witnesses one by one. She wanders too far for her own good, as she winds up seeing a man murder his lover. 2 out of 12 found this helpful. Reincarnated "Satanic Witch" from New Amsterdam, circa 1600's comes back to revive her cult members by sucking the life force out of people.
