I started reading it late last night. I found Inez’s writing voice to be lovely. Both were hot and steamy stories filled with characters I enjoyed.

But the book turned into so much more, so instead of being the bosses son and secretary romance, it's more of an Army Veteran, forced into civilian life when he and when drinking no longer became acceptable to his family, they forced him into the company firm, so he gets his act together.I have never read an Ana Jolene book before, but the synopsis gripped my attention! 4.5 Excellent romantic drama. My problem with a lot of erotic & romance novels...and I read a lot of them, is that they "fall in love" over night, but I am forgiving if the story that follows is good! Chloe was always starving. Months later I still think about this book often and have rec'd it to so many people. Was expecting a nice sweet read but this was nothing like that - tough to read in places but I kept rooting for Murphy and LIvvy as I knew they would get there in the end. I did not know that there was a book 2 until I already got engrossed with Maison and Hutch. This isn't a sweet and playful read.
